Moving, New Job, and New Apartment

This morning I finally got back from Dubuque, Iowa. I went there Thursday to look around the city to get a feel for it as well as find an apartment. This means that it is finally decided that I will be moving to Dubuque to live as well as start a new job there. Some of you may be aware that IBM is opening a new location there, well I was hired on in their IT support department, yay me!

While I was looking at apartments I did take videos of the ones I liked but the video that I took of the one I will be renting did not come out as well as I would have liked. Nicole and I are going back to Dubuque on Tuesday so she can see the apartment and I will retake the video then for you to see. In the meantime I do have this picture of the outside of the apartment, enjoy:

The apartment that is ours is the bottom left as the building is divided into four apartments, 2 upper and 2 lower. It has 2 bedrooms, wood floors, dishwasher, a basement, and a washer and dryer in-unit. The only thing we have to pay for is the electric.

I am really excited about this new direction things are taking. A new city, a new job, and a new apartment are really exciting!

Very nice :) And I like the sunny yellow color on the walls.

No coins needed for laundry, now that’s luxury!

Yeah, the cream/yellow in the bedroom is a nice change from boring white and not needing coins for laundry is really nice!
